Crosby executive chef and owner Jeanette Prasifka was invited back this year to give a cooking demonstration in the Culinary Showcase of the City Arts Celebration.

We hope you had the change to join her on Sunday, June 14, at 2:30 p.m. as she prepared three of her favorite chilled summer soups:
Traditional Gazpacho
Crosby's rustic gazpacho is full of cucumber, onion, celery, and bell pepper. A splash of balsamic vinegar and roasted garlic add depth and richness to our version of this classic recipe.
Green Gazpacho
This cold soup looks like a beautiful green garden in a bowl! Cucumber, green onion, celery and grapes are seasoned with lime, cilantro and just a hint of spicy verde pepper sauce. Chef Jeanette loves it for breakfast but it also makes a healthy lunch, or great first-course for dinner.
Tropical Gazpacho
Papaya, mango and kiwi in a mango-coconut broth with a splash of lime juice makes this fruit-filled gazpacho wonderfully refreshing. Try it for a sweet breakfast or a nice cool dinner at the end of a hot summer day!
