Crosby Catering is a proud supporter of the J. L. Long Middle School Long Run.

The Long Run is the PTA’s only fundraising event during the school year. Proceeds from past years’ events have funded PTA programming, teacher appreciation, cultural arts programs, equipment for math and choral departments and novel sets for the reading classes. Proceeds from the 2005 event went to help fund the transition of the 6th grade to middle school life.

Long Run participants wind their way through the beautiful, wooded neighborhood of Hollywood Heights/Santa Monica in historic East Dallas. The Long Run features a One Mile Fun Run/Walk followed by the certified, chip-timed 5K Run, with Start/Finish and after-race activities taking place on the school's front lawn. Crosby is happy to be there, handing out bowls of vegetarian chili, which is always a big hit with the students.
