From December 2003 to the spring of 2005, Crosby teamed up with the Dallas Songwriter's Association to help sponsor a Songwriter's Showcase and Open Mic night the first Thursday of each month at the Balcony Club in East Dallas. Crosby has long been a supporter of the East Dallas community as well as local community events, including its diverse entertainment and music scene. During the Showcase, local Dallas songwriters provided the entertainment and CC&C provided a vegan buffet.
Crosby's offering of a free vegetarian dinner once a month in East Dallas was its way of introducing vegetarians, and non-vegetarians alike, to the company and to provide a sampling of its healthy and delicious food. While we are currently "on hiatus" from serving the Songwriters Showcase, we are still avid supporters of the local community and its artists.
